Rapidly pivoting to an all-remote workforce: Rainbow Water’s story
Please join Infor® and Rainbow Municipal Water District for a discussion of how in the wake of COVID-19, Rainbow Water was able to deploy its entire workforce remotely in a matter of 48 hours and maintain uninterrupted service delivery.
The 8,300 residential and commercial customers of Rainbow Municipal Water District in Fallbrook, CA rely on the district for continuous, safe drinking water and wastewater services. Prior to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the district had already faced an impending disaster and threat to the district’s operations—the 2017 California wildfires. At that time, the general manager, Tom Kennedy, and his staff took the opportunity to look critically at their IT systems and determine what changes were needed to ensure service continuity in the face of similar threats.
During this webinar, Kennedy will discuss the team’s decision to adopt cloud applications, their process of moving the district’s workforce remote, and the successes and continuity of operations Rainbow Water has experienced as a result of these decisions.
